NSW:Retail trade stale ahead of Christmas
Retail sales across NSW remain sluggish just a few days out from Christmas .. with
no major upward shift in spending forecast for the rest of the year.
Industry groups say the sector remains relatively flat and unexceptional .. compared
to previous years.
Grocery sales are bucking the overall trend .. according to retailer Coles .. which
has forecast a bumper trading period.
