Vic: Church behind graphic reenactment complains to police = 2

Victorian Attorney General Rob Hulls said he believed police would have taken action
against the church for breaking the law and committing a `summary offence', despite the
group's claims it was a `bill of rights' issue.

"Police took what action they deemed appropriate, I assume under the summary offences
act," he told reporters on Tuesday.

When asked whether he would have been offended if he had seen Saturday's crucifixion
re-enactment he said: "It takes a lot to offend me".
