WA: Archbishop launches Anglican appeal for tsunami victims
The Anglican church in Perth has launched an appeal for victims of Asia's tsunami.
Australia's Anglican Primate Archbishop Peter Carnley has urged Anglicans to give generously.
He says it's clear the world is facing an humanitarian crisis of mammoth proportions.
Dr Carnley says that funds collected locally will be sent to the Anglican Board of
Mission and Anglicord.
Anglicans in WA can contribute electronically to the Tsunami Appeal Account, BSB 706001,
Account No. 30003730 at the Anglican Community Fund.
Alternatively cheques may be sent to the Anglican Tsunami Appeal, P.O. Box W 2067,
Perth, WA,6846.
It is also possible to contribute directly through the Anglicord website:, www.anglicord.org.au.
