COLONIE - For 35 minutes on Wednesday, Schalmont frustrated Marcellus star striker Alex Rouse with tight, aggressive man-marking.

But as he has done throughout the season, the indomitable senior only continued to fight harder. Rouse scored two goals in a four-minute span, as the state's sixth-ranked team ended Schalmont's season with a 3-1 victory in a Class A boys' soccer regional at Colonie High.
